Simple-Simon, the Smart Work Order App

Since the beginning of 2022, the service engineers at Scala Scientific have been using software from Simple Simon, a Dutch software developer. This system helps streamline various tasks that Scala Scientific’s service engineers perform daily, such as preventive (planned) maintenance and 24/7 incident handling by automatically scheduling, distributing, and storing them. By working with tablets, the management of incidents and processing of work orders and maintenance forms has been greatly simplified. As a result, the chance of errors and delays is minimized to nearly zero, and Scala Scientific’s customers receive the correct information even faster after a service visit.

As the icing on the cake, almost all actions—from the moment the customer reports an incident to the moment the invoice for the service is issued—are automated through Simple Simon (and the connection with our ERP package).
